Children with Disabilities Engage in Social Activities and Parents Get a Night Off

Strengthening Familes - Autism - Main Pic  New Jersey children and adults with a disability can take advantage of state-funded site- and community-based programs offering a wide array of social and recreational activities.  For parents, Advancing Opportunities’ Weekend Recreation and Parents’ Night Out programs are a win-win.  Children participate in fun activities, while their parents get a break.  Participants enjoy a variety of activities, from seeing movies and having pizza parties to attending local sporting and theater events. Other popular events include bowling, game and craft nights and theme parties.  New schedules for December are now available!
